From Gottschalk to Gershwin. Exploring the Roots of American Music . Engaging, humorous and thought-provoking program by multi-talented pianist Alex Pryrodny and mezzo-soprano Leslie Valentine with a special guest tap dancer explores the turning points and key contributors to the history of American music from the earliest attempts at fusing the music of different cultures until the height of the “jazz age.”

Sing Noël is a retelling of the Christmas story through words and music, old and new! This annual event at St. John's church is guaranteed to warm your heart and put you in the spirit of Christmas, while enjoying the professional musical talents of soprano Lynn Norris, mezzo-soprano Leslie Valentine, tenor Douglas Purcell, bass Larry Long and pianist Christine Doré. Festivities continue with a reception and raffles in the Great Hall.
